ToM Stage 1 Results, Stage 2 Preview

Stage 1 of the Tour of Missouri found the racers circuiting the city of St. Louis for 75 miles. Mark Cavendish, with leadout by “Captain America”, George Hincapie, won the bunch sprint finish. Here are the top 100 finishers:

Today finds the peloton heading along the Mississippi from St, Genevieve to Cape Girardeau. This route will offer the racers their first taste of state’s rolling hills and scenic countryside. Some early KOM hills and a technical finish on Cape’s riverfront should provide a challenge for the day’s winner.
