I had this sinking feeling when I tried to log into the administrative side of this site this morning, only to be greeted by a message that the IP address that I was trying to log in from was on a blacklist because of some sort of malicious activity.
Never did manage to log in from my workplace today. I managed to discover what was causing the problem a couple of hours ago (a plugin to catch certain types of malicious activity, like spam comments, went haywire and had to be removed). If you tried posting comments earlier today and were greeted by the same annoying message I got this morning, well, it’s been dealt with and everything should be working. Until the next time something goes wrong.
