The Redlands Bicycle Classic started yesterday with a short prologue.
The Daily Peloton not only provides results, but also shows the profile of what looks to have been a a tough little course Floyd Landis currently stands in 42d place 43.11 sec. back.

Update1
Type 1 does a nice job of tweeting during the stage ad covering the Redlands itself.
Update2 According to the PE Floyd Landis suffered a number of flats and mechanicals yesterday during the Beaumont Stage of The Redlands, including a broken wheel.. This will unfortunately exclude him from today’s crits.
Update3 According to a press release received this AM Floyd Landis dropped out of Friday’s Redlands stage due to “illness”. No more detail was provided other than the fact that Floyd did participate in a post stage OUCH team autograph signing session on Saturday.

Following the stage, the team assembled at the Voler Team Apparel tent in the race expo and signed autographs. “The turnout was fantastic,” Tamayo said. Floyd Landis participated in the signing, despite dropping out of the race early in Stage 1 Friday due to illness
