The official team rosters for this coming weekend’s Tour of the Battenkill have been posted by “Good-Bye Blue Mondays“: The following riders will be competing for OUCH:
OUCH Pro Cycling Presented by Maxxis (UCI Continental) – www.teamouch.com
Roman Kilun
John Murphy
Karl Menzies
Tim Johnson
Floyd Landis
Bobby Lea
Jonathan Chodroff
Rumors swirl that Floyd Landis may participate solo in the Tour of the Gila which begins on on April 29th. With Dana Point on the 26th that may be a bit of a stretch, but who knows? Calls to OUCH from local media have gone unanswered. Lance Armstrong’s name has also come up which makes one wonder about the timeliness of the info since he is still in recovery mode from his recent collar bone annihilation. Stay tuned….
Well at least we know Brad White of OUCH will be at the Tour of the Gila.
Socalcycling.com blurbs Floyd Landis’ appearance at Dana Point this year, and NO Floyd is NOT singing, thank goodness, he is riding:
Floyd Landis, with top members of TEAM OUCH / Maxxis Cycling, and Rahsaan Bahati with Rock Racing, have confirmed to race in the 3rd annual Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling on April 26, a part of the prestigious USA Cycling National Racing Calendar. Last year, Floyd Landis offered color commentary and melancholy folk songs from the announcer’s booth of the Dana Point Grand Prix. This year, Floyd Landis will let his legs do the singing. “I had a great time last year channeling Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash,” joked Landis, “but I got a feeling the crowd would rather watch me race my bicycle.
Meanwhile, eightzero offers up a video and transcript of what really happened during the March “incident” involving a certain Sir Lance-alot and a collection agent from the AFLD.
And over at WADAWatch, ZENmud provides an interesting analysis of how WADA’s pursuit of another case last year may have the ironic effect of helping Lance Armstrong defend himself against the AFLD, should a case be pursued over the now-infamous “shower incident.” You can also see ZENmud’s Clif Notes version of his article in comments here.
Who cares about Floyd? Will Tyler be there? Oh, that’s right. He’s gotta lifetime case of bronchitis.
Dude, chill out. His mom’s on her deathbed. Have half a heart, will ya?
What’s wrong with Tyler’s Mom? That’s awful…

Cancer, I think it’s terminal. He spent the winter in MA, training in the basement.
Thanks for the Battenkill update. Lots of my teammates are going, but I can’t do it this year – looking forward to 2010.
Looking MOST forward to hearing how Floyd does.
That’s tough news about Tyler’s mom. My father in law starts a higher level of chemo today, but his prognosis sounds much better.
Hi SuitCase! I’ll probably start a new blog entry tomorrow as more stuff about Battenkill is posted. Wish we could go, but there’s too much going on here to take the time 🙁
