After being part of a break, Floyd Landis came in 26th in the TD Bank Philadelphia International.
This weekend some members of Team OUCH, including Floyd Landis, come east for the TD Bank Championships in Philadelphia which will be contested on Sunday June 7th. Here’s the roster provided by OUCH Presented by Maxxis for the TD Bank Philadelphia International:
Tim Johnson, USA
Floyd Landis, USA
Patrick McCarty, USA
Karl Menzies, TAS
John Murphy, USA
Andrew Pinfold, CAN
Rory Sutherland, AUS
Brad White, USA
Prior to the race Team OUCH will appear at a meet and greet at Bicycle Therapy a renowned bike shop in Philly. The event will take place Friday night June 5th. Fun will be had by all.
In addition to the TD Championships, several other future events have been announced in which Floyd Landis is scheduled to take part, nothing is written in stone however. Here’s a list of various newspaper stories, official race web sites, and blog entries mentioning Landis’ participation in chronological order:
June 10-14th as part of the Minnesota Bike Festival Team OUCH will be competing in The Nature Valley Grand Prix Stage Race.
June 16th Floyd Landis has been confirmed for the Mardis Cycliste de Lachine (Google translation) according to The Canadian Cyclist. It also appears that Cam Evnas, who was badly injured during the Tour of the Gila, will make his return to the OUCH lineup. The most exciting news to come from this translation, and one must take this with a grain of salt, may be an appearance by Henri “Rocket” Richard former Les Habitants great.
June 27th– Racing at Litespeed notes Floyd Landis’ upcoming appearance at The Benecia Town Race.
Announcements were also made this week confirming OUCH for two large and well known stage races.
In August the schedule is full. The team will head to Utah for the Tour of Utah. You can follow the race on twitter so look for further announcements there.
Also in August the ING Capital Crits in DC and the USPro Road National Champioships take place, among a couple of other races. They are all on OUCH’s schedule and Floyd Landis will likely take part in them (especially the US Pro), but thus far no announcements have been made as to who OUCH will send.
And September 7-13th will find OUCH competing in the Tour of Missouri. As you might expect you can also follow the Tour of Missouri on twitter.
If you have information about upcoming OUCH races feel free to let RYHO know. I’ll be filling in the blanks as more information becomes available.
If you happen to be in the northern NJ area on Saturday Floyd Landis will be appearing at an autograph session from 12-3PM at Danzeisen & Quigley.
Results and news from this weekend’s race in Philly will be posted here when they become available.
