The Nature Valley Grand Prix starts this morning with stage 1 being a 4.5 mile time trial along the St Paul riverfront. Go here to see the TT start time list. Team OUCH is very well represented with John Murphy, Roman Kilun, Andrew Pinfold, Pat McCarty, Tim Johnson, Karl Menzies, Floyd Landis, and Rory Sutherland taking part.

In this unique 6 stage race stage 2, a criterium, takes place later this evening in downtown St Paul. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7:40PM Central. Any results we can get our hands on will be posted. Look for more on subsequent stages in the coming days.

The Star Tribune posts a short interview with the cat like Floyd Landis who had this to say:

“I like to race, and I didn’t want my career to end on that kind of a note,” he said. “I would always have questions about what might have been. There are always going to be people who have an opinion. I just wanted to race again.”

And the Red Wing Republican Eagle previews tomorrow’s stage which will pass through “goodhue country”.

If you twitter follow the race here.

On a different note for Landis, this may be an example of OUCH’s rigorous training techniques.   😉    Good luck to all the lads at the Nature Valley Grand Prix.
