Help Support Injured Runner Jenny Crain
Several weeks ago, Jenny Crain, an elite runner from Milwaukee, was seriously injured while out on a training run. Crain, 39, was struck by a car as she stepped off a curb just a short distance from her home on Milwaukee’s east side. Crain was training in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Trials. More than three weeks after her accident, she is still in a Milwaukee-area hospital, recovering from her injuries, which include a head injuries.
Bills have begun to pile up for Crain, who is self-employed. Sue and Mike Miller, two friends of Crain’s, are selling “Make It Happen” t-shirts to help raise money to cover Crain’s medical expenses.
