Just a quick note of apology to all the faithful Rant-ophiles who’ve been unable to get their daily (or several times a day) dose. A problem with the database on my Internet Service Provider’s servers took Rant Your Head Off off line for about 10 hours today. Fortunately, the technical support people were able to get the problem sorted, and we’re back on line.
Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone. With luck, we won’t be seeing any more problems like that for a while.

I was getting worried there – wasn’t sure if the problems were at your end or mine. Or maybe the WADA was cracking down on us. Glad to see things back up and running.

For a brief moment, even I was wondering whether the USADA gang had shut me down. But only for a moment. When I tried to get into the administrative console for the site, I found that the database was well and truly hosed. I’m just glad it’s back to life.
